Brief Directions on how to Download Software:
- Depending upon which browser you are using, a dialog box will appear
that says something to the effect, "How would you like to handle
this file?" Choose "Save to Disk".
- A dialogue box will appear where you need to specify the location/directory
where you want the file to be downloaded. (You can just leave it at
the default location that is already shown or specify an other location,
if you would prefer to place the file somewhere else.)
- Select "Save".
- A file named "203kmate.exe" (for the single file download),
or "SETUP.EXE, SETUP.W02, SETUP.W03, SETUP.W04, andSETUP.W05"(for
the multiple files download) will be downloaded to the location on your
computer that you specified in Step 3, above. (The length of time it
takes to download the program will depend on the speed of your modem.
A dialogue box will appear on your screen stating the approximate time
it will take to download.)
- When the download is completed, minimize or close your Internet browser.
- Go to "File Manager" (for Windows 3.X) or "Windows
Explorer" (for Windows 95).
- Double-click on the file called "203kmate.exe" (for the
single file download), or "SETUP.EXE, SETUP.W02, SETUP.W03, SETUP.W04,
andSETUP.W05"(for the multiple files download). (It will be in
the directory/location you specified in step 3, above.) This will start
the installation process.
- You will be asked to read and accept the End-User License Agreement.
(You should always read the license agreement for any software you load
on your computer.) If you accept the terms of the license, click on
"Accept". If you choose not to accept, the installation program
will stop.
- After you accept the license agreement, a dialogue box will appear
asking you to specify the location where you want the program to be
installed. It will default to the location you specified in Step 3,
above. Just leave it there, unless you prefer to specify a different
location.
- Click on "Install". The installation will continue.
- Just follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
- If you are using Windows 3.X, a new Program Group will automatically
be created that contains icons for 203(k)Mate for Consultants applicable
ReadMe files. If you are using Windows 95, 203(k)Mate for Consultants
will be added to your Start menu.
